Tragic Flying Accident

It has been confirmed that a CCF Cadet and RAF Pilot were tragically killed on 14 Jun 09 whilst on an Air Experience sortie from Abingdon in Oxfordshire.  It currently appears that there was a collision with a civilian glider and that the glider pilot parachuted to safety.  Our sympathies go out to all those who have lost loved ones.

This accident is the result of military, civilian and police enquiries and no information can be released until these enquiries are complete.  Pending the outcome of these enquiries, all Air Cadet flying has been suspended.
